Sometimes, due to policy violations returned by Google, it is not possible to publish ads directly through TenScores. In such cases, TenScores cannot push your data through. The workaround is to use the "Export CSV" feature to download the CSV file and then use Google Ads Editor to publish your new ad groups. Follow these steps to successfully complete the process:
1. Download Google Ads Editor
Visit the official Google Ads Editor download page here.
Choose the appropriate version for your operating system (Windows or Mac).
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install Google Ads Editor on your computer.
2. Upload Your Account into Google Ads Editor
Open Google Ads Editor after installation.
Click on the "Accounts" tab in the top menu.
Select "Add" and then "Add account."
Sign in with your Google Ads credentials and select the account you wish to manage.
Click "OK" to download your account data into Google Ads Editor.
3. Download the CSV from TenScores
Log in to your TenScores account.
Restructure the campaign or ad group you need to restructure.
At the publishing step, click on "Export CSV" instead of "Publish".
Save the CSV file to a location on your computer where you can easily find it.
⚠️ WARNING:
Do NOT open the CSV file before uploading it to Google Ads Editor. Opening the file in software like Excel can tamper with the data formatting, causing errors. Upload the file directly into Google Ads Editor, you'll be able to see everything or make changes before publishing in Google Ads Editor itself.
4. Upload the CSV into Google Ads Editor
Open Google Ads Editor if it is not already open.
Click on the "Account" menu and select "Import" > "From file..."
Browse to the location where you saved the CSV file from TenScores.
Select the CSV file and click "Open."
Follow the prompts to upload the data. Ensure that you map the columns correctly to match Google Ads Editor's requirements.
Review the changes to make sure everything is correct.
Click "Post" to publish the new ad groups to your Google Ads account.
📌 NOTE:
In cases of policy violations, you will get the same error that you got in Tenscores referring you to the Policy Violation, but here you can "Request and Exemption" and get your keywords published when you publish a second time.
By following these detailed steps, you should be able to work around any policy violations preventing direct publishing from TenScores and successfully manage your ad groups using Google Ads Editor.
